HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May. 17, 2012-- KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today that KBR Building Group has been awarded a contract by CTL Packaging, USA, to construct a new manufacturing facility in Dallas, N.C. This represents CTL’s first manufacturing facility in the United States.
KBR Building Group will provide general contracting services for the new 160,000-square-foot precast industrial manufacturing facility. Once complete, the facility will utilize an injection molding process to produce plastic tubes and caps for cosmetics and personal care products. The complex will house production, research and development, warehouse and distribution operations, plant utilities, raw material storage, maintenance operations, and corporate offices for the firm.
