HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2012--
KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary,
Roberts & Schaefer, was recognized by the Rocky Mountain Coal Mining
Institute (RMCMI) for 100 years of distinguished service to the
Institute and the Rocky Mountain coal mining industry.
Roberts & Schaefer was a founding member of RMCMI and has provided
continuous support to many of its programs which are dedicated to the
promotion of western coal through education.
Roberts & Schaefer serves as a Charter Patron Sponsor of RMCMI’s
Scholarship Program, which awards 16 scholarships to students entering
the coal industry each year. The company is also an active participant
on several of the Institute’s committees, including the Safety Committee
and Scholarship Committee.
